New Owner Hates God Too

As of November 2006 this blog is under new ownership. My name is Taj and I have always wanted to start an atheism blog and when I say this site for sale I just had to snap it up. I’ll be keeping the general blog topic the same but it will be more about the rise of Atheism, the fall or religion and a general exploration of the theory of evolution.

This was just a quick note, I’ll put up a full post when something pops into my head. I’ve opened up the comments section to non-members so if anybody is out there then let me know!

Why do I hate God? Because ‘it’ is George W. Bush’s mentor & ‘it’s devotee is obeying ‘it’ to the letter> torturing Iraqis, killing 3030 American troops, rounding up dissentors to Amerika gulags in 3rd world countries, taking away free speech. ‘It’ hates gays.

  2. Shnide Says:

    “…the fall of religion…”

What planet you been living on? Religion is on the rise. Both Christianity and Islam are growing in leaps in bounds. Atheism, on the other hand, is on the decline, nor has it ever made up much of the earth’s population.

BTW….I noticed you haven’t had much “pop” into your mind. Hmmmmm. I wonder why?

As for Richard Z. up there, “IT HATES GAYS” is not a correct statement. Jehovah God loves gays, He just hates their sin. Christ died on the cross for them, too. They simply need to confess their sin and repent of it, like everybody else.

    @shnide

If you think atheism is on the decline then you are obviously a stupid fuck.

And on homosexuality, homosexuals have commited no sin and saying what they do is evil is a form of hate.

hi all all i wants to say if god is so great and want man to live and let live, why has he lets the english spill irish blood in irish soil for the past 900 years and commit acts of terror on my country and for the past 30 years call us terrorist whils the oppress us with coplonial rule and murder oer brothers, fathers friends, mothers. i aint impressed

  5. Tamra Says:

    Kevin:
I am always fascinated by people who can say things like “homosexuality isn’t a sin” and by saying it is is a form of hate. I bet you have never picked up a Bible in your life before, because if you had you would see that the Bible refers to homosexuality as a blasphemy against God in BOTH the old and new testaments. But then again, I am not real sure why I am even pointing this out to you because a) you won’t believe me (look it up yourself)
and b) you will have a quick and witty comeback by calling me some sort of ‘name’ because you have no other defense than to use foul language. Educate yourself before you start tossing insults around.

Well, Kevin, there are many credible sources that cite the decline of atheism, but you might want to give this one a quick try, just to summarize the reality.

“And on homosexuality, homosexuals have commited no sin and saying what they do is evil is a form of hate.”

Yeah, THEY HAVE committed sin. And no, to say it is sin is NOT A FORM OF HATE, anymore than to say that calling adulterers or child molesters sinners is a form of hate.

Like it or not, Kevie, God defines reality, not us.

  7. Meia Says:

To cite the bible (which I think is the best work of fiction in the world) is kind of pointless…

    Don’t you think?

It has been translated and rewritten, edited and worked upon by fancy… I really do think it is full of holes in reference to anything of solid fact.

No one can saythat they have the correct version of any religion( or lack there of). I am for no particular sect or creed. I support nothing other then the expression of your own discovery of your (key word being ‘your’) spirituality.

Oh, and how did be get on the debate of homosexuality? I say it is no more a sin then chewing a peice of gum. Love is blind.

  8. Shnide Says:

Meia, you said that the Bible is the best work of fiction in the world and full of holes in reference to anything of solid fact. How then do you explain over
approximately 2500 prophecies which appear in the pages of the Bible, about 2000 of which already have been fulfilled to the letter—no errors. (The remaining 500 or so reach into the future and may be seen unfolding as days go by.)

Since the probability for any one of these prophecies having been fulfilled by chance averages less than one in ten (figured very conservatively) and since the prophecies are for the most part independent of one another, the odds for all these prophecies having been fulfilled by chance without error is less than one in 102000 (that is 1 with 2000 zeros written after it)!

For example, some time before 500 B.C. the prophet Daniel proclaimed that Israel’s long-awaited Messiah would begin his public ministry 483 years after the issuing of a decree to restore and rebuild Jerusalem (Daniel 9:25-26). He further predicted that the Messiah would be “cut off,” killed, and that this event would take place prior to a second destruction of Jerusalem. Abundant documentation shows that these prophecies were perfectly fulfilled in the life (and crucifixion) of Jesus Christ, and virtually every credible literature scholar agrees that the book of Daniel was written when it was stated.

The decree regarding the restoration of Jerusalem was issued by Persia’s King Artaxerxes to the Hebrew priest Ezra in 458 B.C., 483 years later the ministry of Jesus Christ began in Galilee. (Remember that due to calendar changes, the date for the start of Christ’s ministry is set by most historians at about 26 A.D. Also note that from 1 B.C. to 1 A.D. is just one year.) Jesus’ crucifixion occurred only a few years later, and about four decades later, in 70 A.D. came the destruction of Jerusalem by Titus.

  9. Wierton, West Virginian Says:

The reason why I hate God, is because ‘it’ is a black redneck> (Song 1:5)

  10. West Virginia Ishtar devotee Says:

God, Jesus & Virgin Mary’s faces all remind me of Glenn Beck’s face.

  11. katie Says:

so this site was for sale, eh?
did the old owners convert to something else, or do they just not care enough??
i think it would be pretty hilarious if they converted! haha.

  12. Shnide is a stupid fuck Says:

Learn to do some Math, you stupid cow.

I’m not sure who taught you to cipher probabilities, but they are even more retarded than you. I hope you miss everything cool in life and die angry. Stick that in your Bible and bookmark it. Cunt.

  13. Shnide Says:

((I hope you miss everything cool in life and die angry))

Won’t happen, pal. I’ve already done lots of “cool” things, and I’m as happy as it gets. The coolest was receiving Christ, His forgiveness, and His love.

Sounds like you need a little of that yourself.

As for the probabilities — they’re accurate.

  14. Calder Says:

This is such an interesting topic. I must chime in. I am not one to call someone out specifically; however, atheism is truly on the rise, especially in Europe. Of course, religion thrives in countries of the less fortunate. Why? When there is nothing left, you must turn to absent hope and wishing will become your goal. Atheism as a whole does not encompass all of the anti-religious. I for one am not necessarily an atheist or even agnostic. I truly believe that God (if, hypothetically, he did exist) is an unforgiveable and unmerciful entity. At no point does God suffer the same maladies as man. To be a leader, trusted character, useful entity, one must experience first what the follower have and will come to suffer. Would you take swimming instructions from someone who cannot swim? Would you listen to advice that a friend has had no experience in? Would you listen to someone trying to soothe you in a time of death and bereavement when death hasn’t struck him? The idol that is God has not suffered as man has. His only son died, and was returned to him. His angels rebel against him, and in turn, are banished. God always wins. Where is his place of being humble? If God did exist, he would not be worthy of following. Who would you follow into battle: a surgeon or a war hero? Your God is egomaniacal and selfish. If God was in human form, no one would follow him.

You peole just sound like youve had a bad life.your sayin your athiest yet you believe in god askin why is he doing this and that. your confused poor unfortunate unguided souls.

  16. Codie Says:

i enjoy this site, especially the ‘ why i hate god’ bit :) its very very true, sundays really are shit.

  17. Why do you hate god? Says:

I know a common misunderstanding is that athiests hate God. It seems you’ve come to embrace the idea. :-) Love the site.

There’s a new site that was launched this week - Why do you hate god?. We’d love to get your thoughts on there now and then. I’m sure you’ve got a good number of reasons you could contribute, even if you don’t sincerely believe them.

    Thanks!
